Commission Guidelines

Below are the various types of commissions I offer, along with an outline of the commission process.

· Customers’ Choice Commission- the customer may choose options from the following criteria:

o Item type: Wall hanging, runner, placemat set, or ink/watercolor drawing

o Dimensions/size: fringe for wall hangings is not included in length

o Color palette (ex. blues, purples, neutrals)

o Number: how many placemats are in a set or a desired number of wall hangings (ex. A triptych)

o Materials: Addition of natural materials into wall hangings (sticks, rocks, repurposed wood) or framing for drawings

o Theme: For drawings, general theme (vase, mound, profile, etc.)

o Pattern/Yarn: Customers also have the option of choosing specific patterns or yarns (either yarns from my collection or ones to be purchased at additional cost). This is not necessary, but is an option I like to extend for customers who would like an extremely personalized piece.

· Artist’s Choice Commission

o Artist chooses color palette, pattern/design, and support for wall hangings (dowel rod, repurposed/natural wood, wooden hanger, acrylic rod).

o Customer chooses item type (wall hanging, runner, placemat set, or ink/watercolor drawing) and dimensions (fringe for wall hangings is not included in length), place mat set or number of wall hangings.

Additional Information:

· Prices for commissions are quoted on an individual basis.

· I do not take commissions for weavings smaller than 6inches in width x 6inches in length.

· The widest weaving I am currently able to make is 35in wide.

· All work is handmade, therefore there will be imperfections.

· I can take in progress photos upon request.

· I do not take returns or issue refunds for any of the items I make (commissions or in-stock).

· For those with allergies: because my studio is in my home and I have a variety of animals, all weavings are prepared so that they are as free of pet hair as possible. The yarns and fibers I use are also not guaranteed to be hypoallergenic.

· Commission timelines: how long commissions take is primarily dependent on the size and complexity of the item. Because I also work a fulltime job, my time for artwork is limited. The best way to ensure your commission is finished on time is to contact me as early as possible.

· Gift wrapping as well as hand written notes/cards are available upon request.
